Sandra Lou LaFollette

Sandra Lou ( Crum) Lafollette of Park Hills, MO. Passed away April 5, 2015 at the age of 59 Years, 4 Months, 23 Days. Sandy was born on November 13, 1955 to Robert L. Crum and Doris (Hoblit) Curtis in Peoria, Illinois. She graduated from Williamsfield High School where she was a member of the cheerleading squad in Williamsfield, Illinois in 1973. She was baptized in 1977. In 1989 Sandy and Deama moved to Iron County Missouri where she ran her own business, worked as a floral designer and truck driver and raised her daughter. On August 9, 2000 she was united in marriage with Stanley R. Lafollette, the only true love of her life. They were married on the Colorado River in Moab, Utah. They lived a number of years in the Ironton area enjoying children and grandchildren before moving to the Farmington/ Park Hills area in 2006. Sandy was an avid gardener and bird watcher and enjoyed traveling, but especially loved having gatherings and spending time with her family. Sandy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leroy and Dorothy (Earney) Hoblit and Samuel and Blanche (McKinney) Crum, Step mother, Eva (Zimmerman) Crum, and brother, Lee Curtis of Indiana. Sandra is survived by her husband Stanley Lafollette, daughter Deama (Clark) Helms and husband Charles of Ironton, Daughter Laura (Lafollette) Wilis and Husband Matt of Farmington, Daughter Rachel (Lafollette) Wood and husband Mike of Bonne Terre; and six grandchildren, Dylan, Kyle, Gavin, Tyler, Micah and Maddox. She is also survived by her mother Doris (Hoblit) Curtis and long time Dad, James of Rosebud, MO; father Robert Crum of Dade City, FL; sister Susan (Crum) Johnson and husband Steve of Gerald, MO; brother Mike Crum and wife Lisa of Kimberling City, MO; brother James Curtis and wife Barbara of Belleville, IL; brother Danny Curtis of Bremerton, WA and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
