Ronald Edward Wadlow

Ronald Edward Wadlow of Ironton, MO passed away at his home on Friday, June 30 at the age of 73 years, 8 months, and 7 days. He was born October 23, 1943 in Glover, MO to the late Ira and Georgia Bone Wadlow. On September 21, 1963 Ron was united in marriage to his first wife, Marilyn June Wharton who preceded him in death on April 16, 1994. To this union four children were born, Ronald Eli Wadlow and wife Jennifer, Dom Wharton Wadlow and wife Michelle, Marilyn Beth Stone and husband Eric, and Tad Edward Wadlow and wife Dana. On August 1, 1997 Ron was united in marriage to Marilyn Richards who survives. To this union, Ron gained three more children, Angie Bassham and husband Matt of Kansas City, Amy Mayberry of Piedmont, OK, and Travis Mayberry and wife Jenny of St. Louis. Ron is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his children, one brother, Tim Wadlow and wife Lori of Patterson, six sisters, Ruby Nash and husband Jeff of Ironton, Velda Kay of Arcadia, Tarrie Myers and husband Dave of Ironton, Joanie Blevins and husband Elijah of Ironton, Jeanie Barton of Arcadia, Vickie Harper and husband Darrell of Middlebrook; a sister-in-law, Pat Wadlow of Ironton, 24 grandchildren, Dallton, Landon, Jordan, Clayton, Cameron, Braden, Dustin, Kaylee, Grant, Madilyn, Hagen, Taber, Jordan, Emma, Trace, Rilyn, Caleb, Corbin, Bailey, Brennan, Addison, Cade, Jase, and Reid; one great-grandchild, Kinley, and many other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Marilyn; three brothers, Russell, Clyde and his wife Shirley, and a baby brother, Lindell who passed in infancy, and one sister, Barbara Browers and her husband, Jim. Ron attended the Marble Creek School system at the White School as a child, and went on to work as a heavy equipment operator in the mines for many years. He also worked as a laborer for the 916, loved working with his red dump truck, loved to fish, and spend time with his family who he was blessed to have. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 3, at 11:00am at the Cole Family Funeral Home. Visitation for Ron will be held Sunday, July 2, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Cole Family Funeral Home.
