Victor “Vic” H. White of Annapolis, MO passed away Aug. 29, 2015 at his residence at the age of 85 years, and 22 days. He was born Aug. 5, 1930 in Mineral Point, MO a son of the late Benjamin and Hallie Tullock White. On Aug. 15, 1959 he was united in marriage to Carmil “Candy” Pierce who survives. Also surviving are two children, Sandy white and companion Eddie Wilson of Annapolis, and Kenny White and companion Sherry of Desloge; a grandson Dustin Sanders and wife Amy, three other grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Deborah Jean White, 5 brothers, Earnie, Sam, Amos, Andy, and Bill white and five sisters, Sarah Steiner, Gertrude Nosser, Mildred Scott, Lucille Roachen, and Lenora Belt. Vic retired from MC Slater in Granite City, IL after hauling steel for 32 years. He was a member of Teamsters local 525, and the Gospel Trinity Pentecostal Church of God in Ironton, where he served as Deacon, and taught young adult Sunday School. He served his country in the United States Amy during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held on Wed. Sept. 2 at 11 am from the Pentecostal Church of God in Ironton, with Pastors Virginia Nettles and Harvey Buckley officiating. Visitation will begin Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM at Cole Family Funeral Home.
