Victor Ferdinand Volmert

Victor F. Volmert of Arcadia, MO passed away Dec. 25, 2013 at his residence at the age of 85 years. He was born Feb. 16, 1928 in Vienna, MO a son of the late Martin and Christina Wansing Volmert. On Dec. 31, 1950 he was united in marriage to Violet Lashley who survives. Other survivors include a brother, Lee Volmert of Creve Coeur, one sister Marian Shymanski of Greer, SC and a host other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Leonard, Francis, Wilbert, Donald, and Harold, and two sisters, Madlyn, and Deloris. Victor was a member of Ste. Marie Du Lac Catholic Church and the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 440 in Indiannapolis . During WWII he served his country in the United States Navy. Funeral services will be held on Sat. Dec. 28 at 11 Am from Cole Family Funeral Home with Father Jim Untereiner officiating. Interment will be in Arcadia Valley Memorial Park. Visitation will begin Sat. morning at 10 AM.
