Myrtle Clara Lewis Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Myrtle Clara Lewis of Ironton, MO passed away on February 24, 2021 at the age of 82 years, 11 days. She was born February 13, 1939 in Centerville, MO, a daughter of the late Walter "Red" and Laura Pulley. On February 3, 1958, Myrtle was united in marriage to Gary Lewis who precedes her in death. To this union were born three children; Eddie Lewis of Ironton, Sheri Lewis of Ironton, and Ricky Lewis. Surviving Myrtle are two children; Eddie Lewis, and Sheri Lewis, two brothers; Pete Pulley of Centerville, and Carl Pulley of Ironton, and one granddaughter Callie Lewis. Preceding her in death are her parents, her son Ricky Lewis, four brothers; Tony Wayne Pulley, Bob Pulley, Burnell Pulley, Melvin Pulley, five sisters; Jo Ann Hodge, Lorraine Bates, Eufa DeVaney, Byrtle Lewis, and an infant sister Darlene Lewis. Myrtle was a graduate of Centerville high school. She was employed with the Brown Shoe Factory and worked at the Fort Davidson hotel in housekeeping. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm from the Cole Family Chapel. Visitation be begin Monday, March 1, 2021 at 12:00 pm from the Cole Family Chapel. Rev. Jim Liggett will be officiating the funeral services. Interment will be held in Arcadia Valley Memorial Park.
