Margaret June Thomas Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Margaret June Thomas entered into rest on Thursday, April 07, 2022 at the age of 71 years, 5 Months, and 2 Days. She was born November 05, 1950 in Ironton, MO to the late Clayton Eugene and Freida Ellen (Wortham) Moyers. On August 4, 1975 Margaret was united in marriage to Troy Daniel Thomas who preceded her in rest on July 23, 2004. To this union three children were born, Debra Thomas of Watauga, TX, Lynn Thomas of Lewisville, TX, both of whom survive, and Troy Eugene Thomas who preceded Margaret in rest on January 2, 2017. Also surviving are one brother, Gary Moyer and wife Catherine of Ironton, MO, three sisters, Jean Callahan of Arcadia, MO, Mary Boyer of Belleview, MO, and Beth DeHaven of Ironton, MO; six grandchildren, Kiley, Tylor, Justin, Cheyenne, Daniel, and Joshua; 15 great-grandchildren, 21 nieces and nephews, and many many more loving family members and friends. She is preceded in rest by her parents, a son Troy, and a nephew David Lee Sikes. After Margaret graduated from Arcadia Valley High School, she went on to work as a check adjustment clerk for the Federal Reserve for many years. She was also a long time member of the Penuel Fellowship Church, a long time member of Camp Penuel, and the Soul-sisters Prayer Group. Margaret was a kind and caring person who had a heart of gold, and a smile and laugh which would light up the room. She loved her family, her friends, and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cole Family Chapel, and will resume at 9:30 on Tuesday morning. . A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Cole Family Chapel. Interment will follow the services in the Arcadia Valley Memorial Park in Ironton, MO.
