August 1, 1939 - September 27, 2014

Larry Dean Smith of Arcadia, MO, Passed away Sept. 27, 2014 in Eureka, MO at the age of 75 years, 1 month, and 26 days. He was born Aug. 1, 1939 in Annapolis, MO, a son of the late William Golden and Kazia Marie Ruble Smith. On June 27, 1959 he was united in marriage to Beverlee Annette Harrison who survives. To this union was born two daughters; Tammy Holladay and husband Tim, and Deana Uebel and husband Dan, Both of Eureka. Also surviving are three granddaughters, Heather and Tara Holladay, Vanessa Nettles and husband C.J. Nettles, and one grandson Wyatt Eubel. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Gerald Smith and a sister Dorothy Smith Pennington. Larry was a 1957 graduate of Annapolis High School, Past president of the Eureka Jaycees, and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Pacific, MO. He owned and operated his own Construction and home repair business. Funeral services will be held on Wed. Oct. 1, at 11 Am from Cole Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Harrison officiating. Visitation will begin Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Annapolis Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Hope Lodge at 4215 Lindell, St. Louis, MO 63108, or the Annapolis Cemetery Assn. On line condolences may be made at www.colefamilyfuneralhomes.com.
