Gary Floyd Brewer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gary Floyd Brewer of Arcadia, MO, passed away on September 27, 2020 at the age of 63 years, 5 months, 23 days. He was born April 4, 1957 in Ironton, MO a son of the late Floyd Vernon Brewer, and Ellen Lenore Brewer Miller who survives. Also surviving are one brother, Kevin (Becky) Brewer of Arcadia, one nephew, Kevin (Chelsea) Brewer of Arnold, one niece, Shelly Wilhelm of Ironton, his step-father James Miller of Arcadia, two brothers-in-law, Jeff Newmark of Park Hills and Charlie Wilhelm of Ironton, and many other family members and friends. Gary is preceded in death by his father Floyd, and three sisters; Diane Newmark, Karen Brewer, and Becky Wilhelm. Gary worked as a miner for 43 years at Specialty Granules (ISP) in Annapolis, he had a passion and a natural talent for wood carving and wood working, and he also had a never-ending love for deer hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Cole Family Chapel. Visitation will begin Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 10:00 am. Interment will be held in Annapolis Cemetery.
