Gary Wayne Blanner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gary Wayne Blanner of Middlebrook, MO passed away Aug. 25, 2012 at his residence at the age of 62 years, 11 months, and 12 days. He was born Sept. 19, 1949 in St. Louis, MO a son of the late Norbert L. Blanner and Dorothy Pauline Kraus Blanner. On Aug. 14, 1976 he was united in marriage to Connie Austin who survives. To this union were born four children; Mrs.Teresa “Trevor” Johnson of New Quinea, Steven Blanner “Bren” of Salina, KS; Daryl Blanner of Sullivan, and Bryan Blanner “Danielle” of Cape Girardeau. Also surviving are a brother Lee Blanner of St. Louis, a sister Betty “J. R.” Roundcourt of Fulton, MO; 5 grandchildren Noah, Alethea, Perpetua, Clair, and Libby; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lee and a granddaughter Addison Marie Blanner. Gary was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church In Ironton, and a 1969 graduate of Lafayette High School in St. Louis. He was a retired from the Missouri Highway Department. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 1 PM from Cole Family Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Simmons officiating. Visitation will be at 10 AM.
