Floyd Ray Reed Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Floyd Ray Reed departed this life April 2, 2021 at Des Pares Hospital at the age of 86. He was born December 28, 1934 in Minimum, MO, the son of the late Claude and Anna Jackson Reed. On April 27, 1957 he was united in marriage to Mary Ann (Young) Reed who survives. To this union was born a son, Randal Ray Reed of Arcadia. Ray was a carpenter by trade and worked for JS Alberici Construction Company. He also enjoyed farming for many years. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, his son Randal, two brothers Edward and Gale Reed, one sister Geraldine Sikes, sister-in-law Diane Reed and a brother-in-law Carl Pulley. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother Marvin Reed, and three sisters, Lela Sherrill, Lula Mae Pulley, and Shirley White also two brothers-in-law Gerald Sherrill and Danny White. A Celebration of Life for Ray will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 12:00 pm from the Cole Family Chapel. Visitation will begin Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 11:00 am. Rev.
