Eva Alberta Campbell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Eva Alberta Campbell of St. Charles, MO passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the age of 82 years, 2 months, and 14 days. She was born August 29, 1938 in Black, MO to the late Clarence and Elzilene Barton Sumpter. Eva worked as a housekeeper for several industrial plants during her earlier years and had several different jobs throughout her wonderful and loving life. Eva is survived by four children; Joseph Brewer, Holly Henderson, Denise Follis, and Billy Campbell, one brother Columbus Sumpter, six grandchildren; Ashley, Angel, Billy, Amy, Angie, and Mark, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Campbell, a daughter Essie who passed away at birth, four brothers; Ogie Stricklin, Emmett Sumpter, Ovie Sumpter, James Sumpter, and Thedford Sumpter, and two sisters; Retha Orrick and Freida Stallins, A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 11:00 am from the Cole Family Chapel. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm from the Cole Family Chapel. Interment will follow the services in Smith Cemetery in Oates, MO.
