Calvin Wilfred Dothage of Arcadia, MO passed away May 29, 2013 in Farmington, MO at the age of 82 years, 5 months, and 22 days. He was born December 7, 1930 in St. Louis, MO, a son of the late Henry and Antonie “Schroer” Dothage. He was preceded in death by a brother Edward Dothage, two sisters; Marien Ramsey, and Lucile Finke, and his partner in life Raymond McCurdy. Surviving are one sister, Vernita Kohen of Scottsdale, AZ; three nephews, Bernard “Buddy” Finke, Robert Ramsey, and Wayne Kohen; four nieces, Carol Ramsey, Judy Dothage, Theresa Renfro and Nancy Butler; a God son Ryan Reed; and special friends, Dennis “Skip” and Carol Bell, and many other friends. Cal as he was known, was a graduate of University City High School, a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, The Iron County Historical Society, and the Arcadia Valley Elks, serving as Exalted Ruler. During the Korean War, he served his Country in the United States Marine Corps. Recently he retired from the Ozark Regional Library in Ironton after 22 years of service. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 12pm. from Cole Family Funeral Home with full Military Honors. Rev Paul Weisenborn and Rev. Ronald Simmons will be officiating. Visitation will begin Fri Morning at 10 AM, with a Elks Memorial Service at 11:45 AM. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery in St. Charles, MO.
