Bobby Joe Williams of Arcadia, MO passed away on Saturday, March 05, 2022 at the age of 78 Years, 5 Months, 8 Days. Bobby Joe was born in Ironton on September 27, 1943 to the late Henry and Essie (Inman) Williams. Bobby Joe is survived by three children, Henry Joe Williams of Farmington, MO, Stephanie Koppeis and husband Rick of Farmington, MO, and Lacey Currington and husband Todd of Farmington, MO; three sisters, Joyce McNeil and husband Lee , Mary Jackson, and Karla Mnich; five grandchildren, Kathleen Weddle, Michael Koppeis, J.T. Currington, Jamie Currington, and Kyle Currington; one great-grandchild Belken Weddle, and many more loving family members and friends. He is preceded in rest by his parents, his wife Joan Williams, brothers Glenwood and Danny Williams, sisters Lorene Brooks, Mildred Woolen, and Goldie Aldridge. For 28 years Bobby Joe worked as a custodian for Arcadia Valley Schools. He worked hard to keep the school in working order, and worked even harder making children smile and laugh. He was a gentle giant in the school and he made the kids always feel cared for when they weren't in the classroom. He always had a smile on his face when he worked and when he was out in the public. Bobby Joe also loved to work on different projects and tinker with lawn mowers, engines, and other odds and ends. He enjoyed staying busy and doing things for other people. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Visitation for Bobby Joe will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM at Cole Family Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 10 at 01:00 PM at Cole Family Chapel. Interment will be at the Cove Cemetery.
