Bobbie Ruth Myers

August 11, 1932 - April 11, 2015

Bobbie Ruth Myers of House Springs, MO, formerly of Ironton, Passed away April 11, 2015 in St. Louis, MO at the age of 93 years, and 8 months. She was born Aug. 11, 1921 in Memphis, TN, a daughter of the late Jack and Ella Paul King. On Dec. 20, 1947 she was united in marriage to Donald Francis Myers, who preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 1983. To this union was born five children; Barbara Jean Dudeck and husband Ronald of South Bend, IN, Sherry Lee Kaiser of St. louis, Donna Sue LaKamp and Husband Lloyd of Denver, CO, Denise Ortmann and husband Richard of House Springs, and James Donald Myers and wife Beverly of Ironton. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 4 great Grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother Jesse Blaylock and a sister Ina Jeffress. Bobbie was a member of the Arcadia Valley United Methodist Church and for many years worked for Arcadia Valley Schools as a Cook and also served at the Epworth Methodist Camp. Funeral services will be held on Wed. at 11 AM from the AV United Methodist Church under the direction of Cole Family Funeral Home with Pastor Marty Blakey officiating. Visitation will begin Tues from 5 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Arcadia Valley Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church.
