Billie Joe Nolan of Pilot Knob, MO passed away July 5, 2014 in Barnes-Jewish Hospital at the age of 62 years, 6 months, and 22 days. He was born Dec. 7, 1951 in Bonne Terre, MO, a son of the late Charles and Sparky Rentfro Nolan. On April 30, 1977 he was united in marriage to Robin Nolan who survives. To this union was born two children, Laura Miller and Husband Jonathan of Farmington, MO and Wade Nolan of Fenton, MO. Also surviving are a brother Richard Nolan and wife Joyce of Farmington, a sister Madeline Gray and husband Bobby of Irondale; two grandchildren, Abbie and Payton Miller and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was a 1969 graduate of Leadwood High School, and retired after many years of service with the Doe Run Company as an equipment operator. He was a member of the Iron Mountain Baptist Church, the Arcadia Valley Country Club, and an active member of the local Coon Hunting Clubs. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10 at 11 Am from Cole Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Leroy Wakefield officiating. Visitation will begin on Wed. from 4:30 to 8:00 PM.
