Amanda Gail Connell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Amanda Gail Connell of Doe Run, MO passed away June 22, at the age of 38 years. She was born Jan. 28, 1974 in Doe Run, MO, a daughter of Gary and Vicky Morris Johnson. On Aug. 19, 1991 she was united in marriage to Shawn Connell who survives. To this union was two children, Jamie Phegley and Husband Kenny of Bismarck, and Cody Connell of Doe Run. Also surviving are her parents, Gary and Vicky Johnson, a brother Adam Johnson, Grandmother Earlene Morris, fathers and mothers in law Martin and Linda Connell, Claudia and Jerry Lackey and Earlene Steelman, and her most recent joy of her life, a granddaughter Alexandrea Gail Phegley, along with a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Amanda attended Bismarck High School and graduated from Summersville High School in 1992. She was a member and held credentials with Faith Ministries International Church and she was a youth pastor in Ironton, Mo. She was a praise and worship leader for quite some time at faith ministries church. She was the founder of the Cross Roads Christian Ranch in Salem, Mo. She Loved to teach youth about riding and Christ. She attended the Cowboy Faith Church in Desloge. Amanda was a licensed Real Estate Broker and Agent, receiving many awards in her field. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26 at 11 AM from Cole Family Funeral Home with Pastor Earlene Morris officiating. Interment will be in Pendleton Cemetery in Doe Run.
