Thomas Dwayne Tyndall

Thomas "Tom" Dwayne Tyndall, of Middlebrook, MO, entered into rest with his loving family by his side on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the age of 72 years, 9 months, and 3 days. He was born August 11, 1953, in Leadington, MI, a son of the late Jesse Thomas and Kornellie Bernice (Nelson) Tyndall. On October 31, 1986, Tom was united in marriage to Judith "Judy" Ann Smiley who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Brian Tyndall and wife Rachel of Ironton, MO, Jennifer Majewski and husband Mike of Festus, MO, Craig Simino of Fort Myers, FL, and Kelly Simino of Pacific, MO; seven grandchildren, Tom, Allie, John and wife Kate, Samuel, Jessica, Justin, and Emily; one great-grandchild, two brothers, Mike Tyndall and wife Machelle of Middlebrook, MO, and Don Tyndall and wife Aleta of Kensett, AR, two sisters, Patricia Tarazi and husband Dr. Raul, and Cecile Balding and husband Harvey of FL, three brothers-in-law, Bernie Mounce, Jay Sisk, and Paul Miller, and many more loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He is preceded in rest by his parents, a son Joseph Scott Simino, two brothers, Richard and James Tyndall, and three sisters, Sue Mounce, Carol Sisk, and Theresa Miller. Tom worked many years as a lineman, seven years with Ark/Mo Power, and then 28 years with Ameren. He worked very hard as a lineman and he was one of the best! He served his country with honor in the United States Army and with the United States National Guard. He was an avid and skilled deer hunter and fisherman, he loved to plant and work in his vegetable garden, he enjoyed camping and going on trips to the casino, and was a member of the Arcadia Valley Elks Lodge. He held his family values close to his heart, always taking care of his family however he could. He loved to laugh and have fun with family and friends, and knew how to make you feel loved and appreciated. He always greeted you with a friendly handshake and asked how you and your family were, not just to start conversation, but because he actually cared. Thomas Tyndall was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love him. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am from the Cole Family Funeral Home. A Visitation for friends and family to gather will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, beginning at 5:00 pm and lasting until 8:00 pm from the Cole Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow the services in the Pilot Knob Cemetery with Military Honors. Rev. Brad Crocker will be officiating the services.
