Teresa Colleen Tevis

Teresa Colleen Tevis, of Ironton, MO, entered heaven on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the age of 59 years, 3 months, and 29 days. She was born April 11, 1966, in Duarte, CA, a daughter of Daniel Francis and Mary Eileen (Garrity) Conlon. On September 3, 1988, Teresa was united in marriage to John Tevis who survives. To this union seven children were born, Paul Tevis and wife Madeline of Adelaide, Australia, Peter Tevis and fiancée Maryssa of Bandon, OR, Nathan Tevis of Fort Benning, GA, Joshua Tevis of Ironton, MO, Sean Tevis of Ironton, MO, Jonathan Tevis and wife Breanna of Fort Carson, CO, and Mary Tevis of Ironton, MO, all of whom survive. Also surviving Teresa are three grandchildren, Archer, Everett, and Henry; five sisters, Peggy Eileen Conlon-Reale of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Maureen Isabel Conlon-Craig of Spartanburg, SC, Mary Ellen (Molly) Conlon-Gardner of Newburg, OR, Patricia Ann (Pattiann) Conlon-Castro of Apple Valley, CA, and Kelly Conlon-Griffin of Oak Hills, CA; John (Jay) Conlon of Riverside, CA, Thomas (Tommy) Conlon of Canyon Country, CA, Kevin Conlon of Newburg, OR, James (Jimmy) Conlon of Apple Valley, CA, Brian Conlon of Oxnard, CA, and Timothy (Timmy) Kevin Conlon of Oxnard, CA; and many more loving family members and friends. She is preceded in rest by her parents and three brothers, Daniel Francis Conlon, Michael James Conlon, and Martin Joseph Conlon. Teresa was the definition of what a loving mother is. She loved her children more than life itself, and treated her children’s friends as her own. She was known lovingly as “Mama T” around her home. She had a Doctorate Degree in homemaking, loved watching tv and reading books (she had her own library in her home), and was a faithful member of the Ste. Marie du Lac Catholic Church in Ironton, MO. Teresa Colleen Tevis was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am from the Ste. Marie du Lac Catholic Church in Ironton. A Visitation for friends and family to gather will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, beginning at 6:00 pm and lasting until 8:00 pm from the Cole Family Chapel. Interment will follow the services in the Middlebrook Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tevis family at Ozark Federal in Ironton, MO.
