Gary Jonathan Whited II

Gary Jonathan Whited, II, of Pilot Knob, MO, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the age of 44 years, 11 months, and 3 days. He was born December 5, 1978, in Fredericktown, MO, a son of Gary Whited, I who survives, and Martha Lorene Whited who preceded him in rest on February 22, 2020. Surviving Gary are his father, Gary of Pilot Knob, MO, a brother Jackie William Banks of Ironton, MO, two sisters Angela Michelle Lambert of Granite City, IL, and Alma Maria Whited of Paris, TN, two nieces Nyla Banks and Kendalynn Banks, and many more loving family members and friends. Gary is preceded in rest by his mother Martha Lorene Whited. After graduating from Arcadia Valley High School, Gary went on to serve his country with pride and honor in the United States Army. After joining the army in 1998, Gary was stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia. Shortly thereafter, he was deployed to Kuwait along with his unit. Upon discharge and his return home he met Shannon Cain and Chase who brought him some of his most happy moments as he loved being a father. Gary's unfiltered and uncut approach to life was truly one-of-a-kind. He lived each day with an unwavering spirit, never caring about what others thought of him. His authenticity and disregard for societal expectations was his way. Gary's journey was marked by a deep love for his family, friends, and the adventures that life had to offer. His infectious spirit and unique perspective on life will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing and win you were Gary’s friend you knew that you would always have someone in your corner, because he was loyal without fail to those he loved and cared about. Gary was a friend to many people in the community. He never met a stranger and always wanted to be kind to people, that is how Gary will be remembered. He had a laugh that filled the room and a smile that could light up the darkest of places. He cared for his family more than anything and loved them even deeper. He was a loyal friend, a loving and devoted son and brother, and a watchful and caring uncle. Gary Jonathan Whited, II will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love him. In our hearts, Gary will forever remain a symbol of living life to the unapologetically and without regrets.
